Lillian was born on May 14,1927 in West Point, Nebraska to Ferdinand and Adela Novak. Growing up, she lived on a farm near Rosalie, Nebraska. She attended Rosalie High and graduated as Valedictorian in May of 1944. Later that year, she married John D. Radtke on September 17,1944. Lillian and John welcomed four children: Dennis (Erma) Radtke, Carol Beacom, Douglas (Rose) Radtke, Diane Stark preceded her in death.
Lillian was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and family oriented. She loved spending her time baking, quilting, crocheting, and sewing. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and went on jet ski rides for her 80th, 85th and 90th birthday.
Lillian's life was surrounded by many family members she loved. She is survived by 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. She also had numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also is survived by a brother-in-law Wilbur Fuscher and sister-in-law Joyce Novak.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband John, parents, her daughter Diane, son-in-law Michael Beacom, and multiple family members.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Hooper Funeral Chapel with family present 5 pm to 7pm. The funeral will be 10 am, Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery south of Pender. Memorials may be directed to the family.
