Helen A. (Monroe) Drumright age 93,
died at home in Fremont on October 7th.

Helen was born March 12, 1928 in Fremont, to Phyllis Jean Holtz and Joseph Monroe. She was raised in rural Nebraska, graduated from Omaha Tech High 1946, and the University of Denver 1950. Helen married Claud E. Drumright in Denver on August 28, 1954. She received a teaching certificate from Regis University and taught in public schools in the Northglenn area. She moved back to Fremont in 1991, was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Sarah Circle, Altar Guild, served as President of the United Methodist Women, and belonged to the F.U.M.C. Quilting Group and Prayer Weavers. Her other volunteer activities included the Fremont Area Medical Center and Friends of the Library. Her hobbies included reading, quilting, crocheting and traveling to visit friends and relatives.

Helen is survived by daughter Tamara Drumright (husband Don Palermo) of Westminster, Colorado; son Elliott Drumright (wife Judy) of Evergreen, Colorado; son William Drumright (wife Patti) of Rochester, New York; granddaughter Kelly Drumright (husband Aaron Vimont) of Longmont, Colorado; and grandson Jack Drumright of Erie, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A memorial service will be held at Fremont First United Methodist Church, on November 5, 2021 at 10 a.m., followed by burial at Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Fremont United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund is suggested. Condolences may be left at www.Ludvigsenmortuary.com
