Wade was born on September 17, 1968, in West Point to Kenneth and Hazel (Johnson) Albus. He graduated from Logan View High School in 1986 and later attended Southeast Community College in Milford, graduating in 1988. Wade spent much of his life doing what he loved most - working hard, spending time outdoors, and being with family. He worked as a welder after college until his health no longer allowed him to continue.
Wade enjoyed hunting and fishing, cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners football, cooking, listening to country music, attending rodeos and demo derbys, canning food from his garden, and relaxing with classic western shows. He was quick witted, found humor in everything, and was known for being caring and always willing to help others. Above all else, Wade loved his grandchildren deeply, and they were his greatest pride and joy. His hardworking nature and appreciation for the simple things in life are what many will remember most.
He is survived by his daughter, Tanna Albus and fiancé Jon Richards; son Tyler Albus; father Kenneth Albus and Beverly; sister Anita Voegler; brother-in-law Mike Stiner; granddaughters Harper and Hadley Richards; grandson Brody Richards; nephews Nicholas and Dayton Stiner and Ryan Voegler; and niece Amber Voegler.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother, Hazel (Johnson) Albus; his sister Amanda (Albus) Stiner; and his best friend, Cameron ''Corky'' Thiele.
Wade will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him, but the memories, laughter, and love he shared will remain with them always.
The funeral will be 10:30am, Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper. Burial will follow in the Hooper Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at church. Memorials may be directed to the family. Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont in charge of arrangements.
