Steven was born May 12, 1950, in South Bend, Indiana to Charles and Dorothy 'French' Raymond. He was raised in the South Bend, Indiana area and graduated from Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana. He enlisted in the Air Force serving in Military Law Enforcement and in 1970-1971 moved to the Scribner, NE Air Base. Steven married Judy Taylor and together had 3 children. They later divorced and he married Sherry Otto on May 26, 2000. Steven was a welder by trade and was an avid motorcyclist. Steven loved to bargain and deal with people and as result, Steven and his wife Sherry loved to go treasure hunting and go to flea markets. Steven was a proud member of the Morse Bluff American Legion Post 340 and the Fremont Coin Club. He loved his guns and the sport of shooting with family and friends. He and Sherry were able to turn that passion into a business in 2016 called 'Back Alley Defense' located in North Bend, NE.
