He was my neighbor for 10 years in Linwood, NE and very dear friend of my sister Linda Wilmot. He will be greatly missed
  2. Chuck Fricke
In my early teen years I had a newspaper route and would deliver the Columbus Telegram to Bob (Mr. Brokenicky back then) at his business in downtown Schuyler. I remember him as always kind and he would tip me a dollar on occasion which made my day. At Christmas time, he always had a small gift for me. I bought my first watch from him. Influential, in our brief discussions he taught me about business and taking care of customers for which I look back with appreciation. I moved away after high school and lost track of Bob until I stumbled upon his obituary today. Call it providence. Makes me wonder.. As we get older we always wish we had more opporrtunities to share experiences and pasttimes with people like Bob. Condolences to his family. May he rest in peace..
