Aunt Marie will be missed very much - my condolences to all of the family. I wish I could have made it to the funeral to say goodbye, but circumstances kept me from making it. Our thoughts are with you all. Much Love

I had the pleasure of visiting with Marie by phone one day. We live in the house on Idaho Street and I called to see if they had put in the sprinkler system. We had a nice conversation about the house and the changes that the last few owners had made to it. She was a very nice lady.

Marie's Family, I remember first meeting the Lund's back in 1953, when they moved next door to us. One of the first things we did together was a neighbor project of installing a new line fence just to the east of our farm lane. I remember Greg falling into one of the fence post hole, I believe his dad had to help him out. Since our farm was just to the west of the Lund's, which this farm is now part of their farm. I would walk over the winter snow banks to their farm house to catch ride to grade school with Gray, Dave, & Greg with Marie at the wheel of their green & white 55 Buick. Marie also kept their farm yard looking good by operating their Cub Cadet riding mower, they always had one of the best looking farm yards around. Marie prepared many a lunch for us hay balers and corn shellers, lunches were always very tasty. Those were the good old days. Marie & Cliff was always very helpful with my folks in their later years, it was greatly appreciated. Marie even sang in the church trio for my mother's funeral. Thanks for doing that, plus thanks for all the many memories Marie. My apology for the making it back to Nebraska for your funeral, I really would of like to. An Aging Neighbor Kid, Loren.
