In 1946, Bernice graduated from the Clarkson Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse in the hospital in Fremont for 27 & ½ years, retiring in 1990.
Bernice was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she had been baptized and confirmed.
Survivors: daughter - Diane and husband David Litman of Arlington, Virginia
son - Jeff Coad of Omaha and fiancée Janice Kent
sister - Karolyn Cernik of Fremont
The funeral service will be on Monday (April 21st) in Trinity Lutheran Church (16th & Luther Rd), 10:30 AM, with the Rev. Michael Meyer officiating. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Endowment Fund of Trinity Lutheran Church and to the Fremont Area Medical Center Foundation.
Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Sunday (April 20th) from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 2 to 4 PM.
