Evelyn was born December 15, 1915 on the farm in Albion Nebraska to George and Clara 'Krohn' Fritzen. She was raised in Albion. Evelyn attended school and took Normal Training in Albion as well. She married Vern W. Realph on February 23, 1937 in Fremont. After their marriage the couple moved to Vancouver, Washington. Vern worked at a logging camp and Evelyn then went to work as the cook for the camp. The couple eventually moved back to Fremont. Her husband worked for the City of Fremont in the Department of Utilities until he passed away in December of 1969. Evelyn then went to work for Campbell's Soup Company for several years until she retired. Evelyn was a homebody, she enjoyed life and love to laugh and giggle. She was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont.

Daughter - Jeanie and husband Vic, Thieman of Corona, California
Daughter-in-law - Patty Realph of Omaha

5 grandchildren - Jay Michalsen, Joni Guerrero, Christy Strunk, Kimberly Fallis and Bryan Realph
4 great grandchildren - Clara Fisher, Alex Fisher, Neal Fisher, Gordon Guerrero

Sister - Dellora and husband Frederick 'Bing', Volberding of Omaha
Sister-in-law - Mildred Fritzen of Albion

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son Dave and 2 brothers Vernon & Leroy

The funeral will be 11:00am Monday June 2 at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fremont. Vicar Diana Kuhl will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Salem Lutheran Church. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2pm to 8pm with family receiving friends from 2pm to 4pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue 1 hour before the service at the church.
