I'm saddened by the loss of William and wish to send my regards to the family. I knew William from when he lived in the 12th street area of Davenport neighborhood we grew up in. The whole lot of us used to run and play together and get into trouble together like kids did and do. William will be missed. God bless William and his family.

We were saddened to hear of William's untimely death. I can't imagine what you are going through and pray that God will give each of you Peace and Comfort. It has been many years ago, but I remember taking care of both William and Becky while Deloris was working at Valmont (I believe). A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then. Sorry we were not in town for the visitation or service, but we are thinking and praying for William's family. May God be with you. Friends in Christ, Doug and Vi Heckens

I met William shortly after he started at Sprint when we worked on a project together. We had a chance to hang out after work about a year later and he was always enjoyed by my circle of friends when he joined us. Even in the 8 years since I left Sprint, we managed to keep in touch. He was such a great guy and being born in Lincoln myself, we managed to go to a couple of games together. I certainly will miss his positive outlook on life. Like all of us that knew him we wish he was still here with us. I'll never forget his warm heart and willingness to go the extra mile for a friend. I won't be able to attend services but my thoughts and prayers go out to the family. May you all take comfort that he touched many lives in ways that will never be forgotten.
