Candice L. "Candy" Cochran age 72, of Scribner
Died Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha

Candy was born September 29, 1948 in Valentine, Nebraska to Harold and Janette 'Lemen' Goodrich. She was raised in Cody, Nebraska until moving with her family to Scribner in 1950. She graduated from Scribner High School in 1966. She went to Nursing school and then married Terry Beerbohm. They lived in several communities while Terry served in the military. Candy returned to Nebraska and lived in Fremont. She married Marion Cochran on December 10, 1979 and they lived in Columbus before moving to Scribner. She worked as a CNA for many years at the Hooper Care Center while she raised her family.

Candy was a member of the United Church of Christ in Scribner. She loved her faith, family and animals with all her heart. She was known for caring for and often taking in stray animals.

Buffy (John) McKenzie of West Point
Tia (Luke) McGowan of Omaha
Samson Cochran of Fremont
10 grandchildren
10 great grandchildren
Sister - Creeta (Danny) Dahl of Fremont
Brother-in-law - Earl Cochran of Springerville, AZ.
Sister-in-law - Sandra (Larry) Eckhardt of Almonte, CA.
nieces and nephews and a slew of animals.

Candy was preceded in death by her parents, son Corey Beerbohm and brother Mark Goodrich.

The funeral will be 10am, Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the United Church of Christ in Scribner. Burial will follow in the Scribner Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Scribner Volunteer Fire Department or Rescue. Visitation will be Monday from 3pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm at Ludvigsen's Scribner Funeral Chapel.
