Died Monday November 30, 2020 at home

Jim was born February 7, 1949 in Fremont to Otis and Irene 'Helgenberger' Robart. He was raised in Scribner and graduated from Scribner High School in 1967. After high school Jim served in the United States Air Force until 1971. He moved back to Scribner and began a career with Hormel Foods in Fremont that lasted 42 years, retiring in 2013.

Jim and Vicky Ring were married in 1992 and they made their home in Fremont. Jim was an avid golfer. He loved his family, animals, fishing, air boating, mushroom hunting and basically anything on the river.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, sister Marjorie Petri, brother-in-law Clint Shurigar and father-in-law Jerry Ring.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 3pm to 7pm at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Masks are required, capacity will be limited. A private family funeral will be held with a live stream of the service to begin at 2pm on Friday, December 4, 2020 (www.Ludvigsenmortuary.com go to Jim's page).

    Vicky and Tyler, Jim and I are so very sorry for your loss, he was agreat guy and loved him on the golf course remember one of the Elkhorn Valley Ladies Tournament he hit my ball and put it right on the edge of the green and we both giving each other a hug and I said will catch you later for a drink oh the memories, he will so missed and yes for his BS which we all loved, take care and love you.
