Died January 22, 2026 in Omaha.
Del was born October 2, 1958 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Russ and Myrna Nesson. He attended Logan View High School, graduating in 1976. Upon graduation he joined the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Kaneohe', Hawaii. He was discharged in 1979. After his service in the Marine Corps, he worked in construction. He then moved to Washington State and worked in the shipbuilding and construction industries. From there, relocated to Omaha and worked for the Veteran's Administration.
Del was preceded in death by his parents, Russ and Myrna Nesson, brother Dave Nesson and nieces Ashley and Elise Nesson. He is survived by Jesse Walmer, brothers Jeff (Christy) Nesson, Monte (Joann) Nesson, Tracy (Laurie) Nesson and sisters Candy (Joe) Peters and Erin (Scott) Miller, many nieces and nephews.
