James was born December 4th, 1973 in Fremont, NE to James M. Case and Bonita ''Strand'' Krohn. He was baptized at the United Church of Christ in Uehling and was raised in the Hooper area. James graduated from Logan View High School and proceeded to live in various communities in Nebraska working a variety of jobs. James came to know Christ and enjoyed helping and teaching various youth groups.
With his love for music and movies he took his talent and created multiple podcasts, blogs, and film commentating. He enjoyed the technology behind the music and volunteered for several years at his church recording services. James' passion for writing led him to become a published fictional writer of short stories. With his kindness and eccentric sense of humor, he developed many friendships along his journey. James was a cherished uncle who found joy in the lives of his nephews. He was a constant source of support and laughter, always taking time to create lasting memories with them and his friends.

Lincoln, NE Saturday, December 28, 2024 James was a wonderful friend and a wonderful person. He always made time for his special people and would devote all of himself to anyone he could help who needed it. He had a great, perhaps dark, sense of humour, and those of us who spent time with him really got to enjoy his jokes and sometimes terrible puns.In his movie and music reviews, he made sure to make them his, with personal experiences and insight. He was a great show host and we all loved being on shows with him and spending time with him outside of them planning and just hanging out. He made friends with everyone quickly and really bonded with them.
His writing was a passion, and everyone enjoyed getting to read and hear his stories and works in progress. I’m so happy to be in a book with him so that we are immortalized forever. He will live on forever, in our hearts, in his words, and in Heaven.
