My sincerest condolences. I’ve known Mike since high school. He was a college roommate, teammate on the Nebraska rowing team, and I was blessed to have him as a groomsman at my wedding more than 45 years ago. Just saw him at the celebration of our rowing team’s 50th anniversary in late September. We shared a table with several other close friends. He was a wonderful person and a true friend. I love you, “Bear”! We will meet again.

I was so shocked and saddened to learn of Michael's passing. You may remember that we went steady during our junior and senior years of high school and our freshman year of college. He was my first love and was such a kind and considerate person. I always looked forward to seeing him every five years at our class reunion. In fact, I sat right beside him at dinner at our last reunion in August, which is why it's such a shock that he's gone. I am curious as to his cause of death, and would like to know, if you'd be comfortable sharing it with me through email. I wish you support during this difficult time and hope that you will eventually find peace.

A wonderful person who cared deeply about others and watching out for his dad.

Mike helped the Dodge County Community Emergency Response Team program get started. His experiences and leadership will be missed by many in the community. He helped when ever he could during flooding, COVID-19, and preparing to help communities during the next disaster. We have lost a great person and member of the community.
