Died Friday, February 4, 2022 at Pathfinder Place in Fremont
Doris was born July 30, 1931 in Foster, Nebraska to Otto and Frieda 'Riedel' Blank. She was raised in Foster and attended school in Pierce. She married Dean 'Deano' Christensen on March 18, 1949. The couple moved to Fremont. They then moved to Hooper where the owned and operated Deano's Bar for 21 years until retiring.
Doris loved to camp, fish and boat, she loved sports and the Huskers, but most of all she loved her family. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper.

Kelly (Andrew) Jackson, Kris (Becky) Wagner, Peter (Pam) Christensen, Carrie (Ryan) Jackson,
Jamie (Bob) Chapman, Chad (Tina) Lovald.
Great-grandchildren - Cole, Bailey, Quillan, Evan, Carson, Delaney, Lexi, Landen, Tanner, Hannah,
Cameron, Ava, Emma, Riley, Reece and Declan.
Sister - Delores Robinson of Foster, NE.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Dean on September 19, 2020, a daughter Shirley Kothenbeutel, parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
The funeral will be 10:00am, Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper. Burial will follow in the Hooper Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm at Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel.
