Steve B. Depperman, age 51, of Fremont
Died Saturday, January 8, 2022 at home.

Steve was born August 4, 1970 in Fremont to Robert and Barbara 'Swanson' Depperman. He was raised in the Kennard area and graduated from Arlington High School. After school, Steve worked as an independent truck driver and farmer. For the last 16 years or so, he drove trucks for Braakken Trucking in Blair.

Steve was a true outdoorsman. He also loved to hunt. He could fix anything and referred to himself as 'The Guy', but if he couldn't he always knew 'A Guy' that could. His family was very much the most important thing to him. Steve married Lynn Mohler in June 8, 1996.

Wife - Lynn of Fremont
Daughter - Jessica (Nick) Davenport of Fremont
Son - Bradley (Jessica) Stubbs of North Platte
Grandchildren - Natalie Stubbs, Chloe and Oliver Davenport, Amelia, Chyler and Blaykley Stubbs.
Sisters - Cynthia Mulder of Fremont
Karen (Erich) Langan of Arvada, CO.
Connie (Jeff) Petersen of Hoskins
Brother - Ron (Debbie) Depperman of Kennard
In-laws - Richard and Sandra Mohler of Blair
Sister-in-law - Lisa (Jason) Smith of Omaha
many nieces and nephews, cousins and other family.

There will be no formal services at this time, but the family will receive friends at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm. Memorials may be directed to the family.

    I’m Velma Frahm. I live in Aurora,CO. Steve’s parents (Bob & Barb) and I were friends for 60 years. Barb and I were high school classmates. Barb lined me up with my first blind date.

    I’m sad to hear that you are all losing a loved family member and friend.

    Cindy, I know you because I would bring my mother to you to fix her hair. I appreciated you calling me when Barb passed on. Karen, I remember you and your mother coming to my home when you hung pictures for me.
