Dagmar S. Kruse

Dagmar was born on a farm near Herman, Nebraska on March 13, 1913 and attended Telbasta School through the eighth grade. She lived on a farm near Fontanelle with Norris and Helen Larsen (her sister) until 1950 when she moved to Lincoln. She completed her high school education there, graduated from the Lincoln School of Commerce, and went on to work for the Nebraska Department of Education. She was a highly valued employee until her retirement in 1978. She moved to Fremont in 2000 to be near her family, living at Nye Court until moving to Merrick Manor in 2003.
She was preceded in death by her father Anton Kruse and mother Martine 'Christensen' Kruse, along with six brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include Special Niece Joyce (and husband Richard) Klebe of Fremont, Special Nephews Lyle (and wife Janet) Larsen of Fremont, LaVern (and wife Sharon) Larsen of Fremont, and Darrel (and wife Carolyn) Larsen of Hooper; and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The funeral service will be 2 PM Monday (April 14th, 2008) at Salem Lutheran Church in Fontanelle, NE, where she was a life long member. Burial will follow in Salem Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. Robert Hayden will officiate. Memorials are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle.
Visitation will be at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont on Sunday (April 13th) from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends and family from 4 to 6 PM.
