Bryan W. Martens of Fremont, Nebraska died Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at the age of 85.
Bryan was born April 17, 1941 in O'Neill, Nebraska to Alfred and Lois 'Kuhler' Martens. He was raised near Atkinson and graduated from Atkinson High School in 1958. He married Elsie Karr on March 1, 1961 and they made their home on the Martens Ranch near Atkinson. The couple moved to Fremont in the Mid 60's. Bryan worked for CF Industries and was a member of First Lutheran Church. Bryan and Elsie both retired in March of 2003.

Daughters - Pam (Bill) Gottberg of Gretna, Deb (Tal) Layne of Bellevue, Jen (Jason) Lattimer of Alexandria, MN
9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren
Bryan was preceded in death by his wife (Elsie) in 2021, parents, four sisters, and brother.
There is no viewing but the family will receive friends Saturday, October 10, 2026 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel from 1 pm to 3 pm. There will be no further services.
