Marvin Brainard, 84, of Fremont
Passed away December 18, 2025 at home with the love of his life Deloris and family by his side.
Marvin was born in Fremont to Donald and Evelyn (Baltz) Brainard. He moved to Valparaiso where he graduated from High School. He worked for Jayhawk Boxes for most of his life. He was also a farmer at heart. He farmed with his dad for years, while working at Jayhawk.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting, 4 and 3 wheeling but most of all he enjoyed his dogs and horses. He loved working with them and training them.

Step-daughter - Cheryl (Tracy Adden) Dryden
6 grandchildren
3 great grandchildren
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael, step daughter Cleste Bates and sister Nancy Brainard.
The memorial service will be 10:30am, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont.
