I remember the times your mom and dad came to Wichita and would stop in to visit my mother and father. They were kind and considerate. I enjoyed Harold's stories. I will miss having contact with him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

I grew up in the West Side Methodist country church. There were special men at our church who quietly served the Lord and mentored us young ones. Harold was one of those special men.

I first met Harold on the roads east of Fremont when I was running. For a man that started his running in his later years,he turned out to be an outstanding competitor. He was at many of the same races as I was. I carried his mail for many years and we hashed over our times in races.Harold was always a friend.
