died Tuesday (Febr. 10th) at Nye Pointe in Fremont.
Margie was born June 14, 1923 on the family farm near Snyder, Nebraska to Otto and Alice (Lieswald) Metschke. She attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church and St. Peter's Lutheran School in Snyder. Her father passed away when she was 10 years of age, and 3 years later, she moved with her mother and family to Fremont. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1942.
On June 2, 1946, Margie was married to Kenneth W. Andreasen and Fremont has been their home. Kenneth, his brother and father operated Andy's Garage (fixing and selling Chevrolet automobiles). Margie had worked for Woolworth's Dimestore, Montgomery Wards, and Penney's in downtown Fremont. She also did secretarial/bookkeeping for her husband's business, Andy's Garage. She also worked for Red's Welding, which became McElwain's Welding, and later that business became Whitmer's Welding Supplies.
Margie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont, and she had been active in an extension club.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in December of 2008, by 3 brothers and a sister.

The funeral service will be 2 PM Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dan Heuer. The committal
will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation will be at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel on Thursday from 2 to 8 PM with the family present from 6 to 8 PM
