Lucy Nelson, age 60, of rural Fremont,
died Wednesday (January 21st) in Fremont.

Lucy was born February 19, 1954 in Fremont to Edward and Donna (Banghart) Stover. She grew up in Fremont and graduated from high school in 1972. She has lived most of her life in Fremont.

Lucy had worked for Campbell Soup Co., the Maple Hill Dairy near Nickerson, Eldon's Place, was a seamstress for J. P. Originals, and she worked for Big Red Keno.

Lucy enjoyed gardening, her animals, and bowling.

On December 10, 1994 Lucy was married to Ted Nelson and they made their home on the farm northwest of Fremont.

Lucy was preceded by her parents and a nephew.

The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Monday (January 26, 2015) in the Chapel of Ludvigsen Mortuary. The committal will follow in Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday (Jan. 25th) at the Ludvigsen Mortuary from 2 to 7 PM, with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 PM. Memorials may be directed to the family for distribution.
