Marian was born October 23, 1930 in rural Dodge, Nebraska to Fred and Clara 'Steinhoefel' Brazda. She grew up in Dodge and graduated from Dodge High School. After high school Marian married Adolph Marsoun, and they opened Ade's Bar in Snyder. Marian owned the bar for over 50 years. In 1979 Marian married Ken Jacobs. She loved animals, friends, family and working.

Marian was preceded in death by her first husband Adolph, a son Jim Marsoun, and her brothers.

The funeral will be 10:30 Tuesday at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Snyder. The Rev. Don Cleary will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery in Snyder. Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice. Visitation will be Monday from 3pm to 7pm with the family present from 6pm to 7pm at Ludvigsen's Scribner Funeral Chapel in Scribner. Visitation will continue for one hour before the service at the church in Snyder.

Ludvigsen's Scribner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

    I'm sorry to hear of Marian's passing. Marian, Ken and Rick all treated me like family in Snyder. A lot of great memories with Marian. She was one fine lady that cared about people. She lived a great life.
