Grandpa John was a true gentleman. He followed our softball team that Steph played on back in the day. He had a very caring personality and great sense of humor. I was proud to call him a friend, rest in peace.

    To John's Family,

John was our neighbor for 15 years. We'll never forget him sitting in his lawn chair with a smile and a wave! He was always up for a visit about fishing, farming, and family. Always ready with a treat or snack for our son and had the best looking lawn on the block. He was a good man and a good neighbor.

John was one of the older of the Wrigg family cousins & I was the youngest (21yr. difference in age). He always called me "Youngster". He will be truly missed. He was so kind, generous & really funny. I'm sure he is with Donna & planning his next fishing trip. Hugs & prayers to Kevin, Rita and their families.

Thoughts and prayers on the loss of John. He was one of the good ones. I have so many fond memories of him from growing up with him and my dad being the best fishing buddies and coffee drinkers. I’m sure my dad (Dewain) was
Waiting for him at the gates to welcome him with a thermos of coffee and said let’s go fishing. If you need anything don’t hesitate to ask.

I met John Ehlers 30 years ago when I started with the Fremont Public School. We both were in the maintenance department and we did many jobs together and I couldn’t of had a better friend or confidant through those years than him. When my son TJ Graduated from high school he worked for two summers going through college and coming home in the summers to work in our maintenance department. He grew very fond of John as we all did throughout the years. He and I both will certainly miss you and Henri old fart John
