Mr. Mundil was my dedicated h.s. biology teacher at Logan View HS during my freshman and senior years. I especially appreciated the opportunity to do primary research with regard to growing plants under variant conditions. Units he taught regarding phyla and in advanced biology - trait inheritance - also stand out as very memorable. He was knowledgeable, managed his classroom, and had an appealing sense of humor. My deepest sympathies to all his loved ones.

Mr. Mundil made a huge impact in my life through his commitment to the science fair program. He was my biology teacher in high school at the time, but he went over and above supporting a physics experiment for the fair and helped acquire new laser equipment. I remember trying to explain to the superintendent and principal why we needed it because it was expensive equipment the school didn't previously have. We did well all the way through to the state level, resulting in scholarships. I still use some of the interferometry concepts in my work today. Thank-you Ed, you will be missed.

Mundil Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I'm a member of St. Lawrence and had the pleasure of attending Mass at the nursing home here with Ed. I remember the times he and the kids did magic tricks at church for some of our gatherings. He was a special person.

Sorry to read of Ed's passing. Enjoyed him so much as a teacher that I was his student aide my senior year. I also worked in the early spring in the greenhouse a couple of years. I know the last several years were extremely hard and may your thoughts be that he is now at peace. My condolences and thoughts and prayers be with you all.

Our sympathies to the Ed Mundil family. He was always friendly and happy and had a smile for everyone. He was a joy to be around in the teacher's lounge at Logan View...always a positive attitude and never a complainer. He truly cared about his family and his students. The community was a better place because Ed and Jo Mundil were part of it.
