Died Monday March 6, 2017 in Beatrice.
Jack was born on May 30th, 1929 to Gus and Marcella Mullenberg. He passed away on March 6th, 2017 peacefully at his home, 743 Solar, at Beatrice State Developmental Center. Jack was an only child, and was raised by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Maria Feinaigle. Jack moved to BSDC on June 6th 1944, where he remained until his passing, at 87 years of age.
Jack enjoyed visits from his cousin and guardian Lloyd Otteman. Jack also liked spending time with his staff, who became his family. Jack loved baseball, especially The Kansas City Royals, fishing, van rides, John Deere tractors, and John Wayne movies. He also liked going for walks, playing cards, collecting hats, coffee, and a good belly laugh.
Jack is survived by his cousin/guardian Lloyd Otteman, of Houston, Texas and his cousin Kenneth Otteman of Enumclaw, Washington.
The graveside service will be 9:30am Friday at the Hooper Cemetery. The Rev. Joel Schroeder will officiate. There is no visitation.
