Barbara Lynn Geisler age 72, of Fremont, formerly of Hooper
Died Thursday December 29, 2016 at Nye Pointe.

Barbara was born to Garlan & Dorothy 'Farnsworth' Schultz on June 27, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK., at Tinker Air Field. In 1945 they moved to Fremont where Barbara, the oldest of three was raised. She graduated from Fremont High school in 1962 and later married Leonard Geisler on October 6, 1963. They resided in Hooper where they raised their three children.

Barbara was a fun, loving, person with a contagious laugh. She loved to do ceramics, have coffee with friends, play bridge and spending time with family. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, American Legion Auxiliary of Hooper and Redeemer Lutheran Church of Hooper.

Sister Peg Born of Dickenson, TX.
Brothers-in-law Ralph (Anita) Geisler of St. Louis, MO.
Vernon (Judy) Geisler of Herman
2 nieces and 5 nephews

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Garlan and Dorothy Schultz, step-mother Marian Schultz, father-in-law Marvin Geisler and mother-in-law Frieda Geisler.

The memorial service will be 11am Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper. Rev. Joel Schroeder will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the church. Private burial will take place in the Hooper Cemetery. Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

    Barb and I were classmates Class of 1962. We were great friends and ran around together on Friday nights up and down main street looking for others that were out she had a car I didn't. We always tried to visit when we were in Nebraska. Sorry for your loss. My last name then was Ayres.
