Shirley A. Schutt age 74, of Fremont
died Sunday October 9, 2016 at her home.

She was born June 24, 1942 in Tekamah, NE to Mildred 'Rasmussen' Lupton and Ronald Modlin, and raised by Mildred and Joseph Lupton. During her adult life, she lived in several different communities in Nebraska. Later, she moved to Kansas with her two children, then returning to Nebraska following her husband's death in May of 2015.

Shirley loved camping with her husband and family. She loved to garden and mow the lawn. She traveled all over the United States with her husband in their truck. As she battled her illness, the one thing she wanted to make sure, is that her family knew how much she loved them.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Dean Schutt, parents Mildred and Joseph Lupton, and Ronald Modlin, daughter Machelle L. Peterson 'Precious', brothers Roger Lupton and Richard Modlin.

A memorial service will be 1 PM Friday at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel, Fremont.
