Donna J. Johnson, age 91, of Fremont, formerly of North Bend,
passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, November 11, 2015.

Donna was born April 15, 1924 on a farm near Dodge, Nebraska to Ollie and Ruth (Sturbaum) Stubbert. She grew up on the farm and graduated from Dodge High School in 1942. She worked as a telephone operator in Webster, Nebraska.

On December 18, 1942, Donna was married to Walter Johnson in North Bend. Donna farmed the family farm near North Bend with her husband for 40 years, then they moved into Fremont in 1980.

daughter-in-law Nancy Johnson of Omaha

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Walter, a son Kevin, and her parents Ollie and Ruth Stubbert.

The funeral will be 10:30 AM Monday (Nov. 16, 2015) in North Bend at the United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Michael Hill. The committal will be in Fremont's Memorial Cemetery. Visitation, at the Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont will be on Sunday with family from 3 to 5 PM, then also at the church in North Bend for an hour before the service. Memorials may be directed to the family for distribution.
