Randall R. 'Randy' Sandness age 66, of Fremont
Died Tuesday June 9, 2015 at Fremont Health Medical Center due to complications of Diabetes.

Randy was born January 19, 1949 in Mitchell, SD. to Ralph and Dolores (Helgeland) Sandness. He grew up in Mitchell and graduated from High School there in 1967. He married Mary Bridges in 1968. He worked for Hormel and moved to Fremont in 1979 and continued his work with Hormel. He then opened his own insurance business and ran that until retiring a few years ago due to his health.

He was a former member of First Lutheran Church in Fremont, serving on the church council and as confirmation guide. He had been very active in the Fremont Cosmopolitan Club. Randy loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Natalie and brother Ronald.

The funeral will be 10am Saturday at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Ridge Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Make-a-wish. Visitation will be Friday from 3pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm.
