Died Saturday March 14, 2015
at Ambassador Health in Nebraska City

She was born July 6, 1929, in Cody, Nebraska to Charles and Ethel Eairleywine. She lived in Cody, Nebraska until the 8th grade. She then moved to Nickerson Nebraska and attended school through 10th grade. In 1946 she graduated from Fremont High School.

On January 1, 1951 she married Marlin G. Young of North Bend, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1982. On October 23, 1986, she married Kenneth J. Fornoff and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1988. She worked at Dairy Queen, Bird Engineering, Marlin Young Excavating, Campbells Soup and Singer Sewing. After having her two daughters she was a dedicated house wife.

Hobbies include 30 years on a bowling league, at 30 bowl and Plaza Lanes. She liked to attend her kids and grandkids sports games, watch baseball, basketball and football on TV. She also was an active member in VFW, Eagles Club, and Cooties.

Sherri is survived by her 2 daughters, Sharla-Rae Andera of Fremont and Kimberly S. Brown of Hooper. 5 Grandchildren, Tami Andera, Robert Andera, Joseph Brown, Edward Brown, Micheal Young, and 18 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ethel and Charles Eairleywine, husbands Marlin G. Young and Kenneth J. Fornoff. 2 brothers, Clayton and LeRoy Eairleywine, sister Virgina Eairleywine and granddaughter, Shawn Rae Ellerman.

The memorial service will be 11:00 am on Friday March 20, 2015 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Robert Hayden will officiate.
