Paul W. Plessner, age 69, of Fremont;
died in his home Tuesday (July 29, 2014).

Paul was born May 16, 1945 to Walter and Doris Plessner in Norfolk, Nebraska. Most of his growing up years were in Fremont where he attended school.

During his earlier working years, Paul was with Stormor in Fremont. Then he began working for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad, retiring after 25 years. After his marriage to Roberta Sanderson in Fremont on August 10, 1963, the couple lived in Fremont 4 years. Then the railroad transferred him to Marshalltown, Iowa for 7 years, to Sioux City for 14 years, then back to Marshalltown. When he retired, the couple moved back to Fremont and Paul worked for Platte Chemical, and then for Goree Excavating for 10 years.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife Roberta on September 29, 2003.

2 sisters Ramona Randall of Omaha
Virginia DeLance of Sioux City, Iowa
1 brother Dale and wife Rosemary Plessner of Omaha

The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Friday (August 1st) at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Scott Jensen. The committal will follow in Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Thursday from 3 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM.
