Died Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at home

Dennis was born August 31, 1949 in Fremont to Orland and Fern 'Lang' Krohn. He was raised on his family's farm near Herman. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Hooper High School in 1968. He worked for a short time before serving in the United States Army during Vietnam. After his military service Dennis returned to the area and farmed. Dennis quit farming in the early 90's but continued work various jobs until he finally retired. On December 28, 1984 Dennis and Bonita Jane Strand were married and they made their home on her family's farm south of Uehling.

Dennis was a member of the Uehling American Legion and was a member of the United Church of Christ in Uehling until it closed.

Step-son James M. Case II of Omaha
Step-daughter Annie (Chad) Rinas of Arlington
3 grandchildren Christopher, Tyler and Dylan
Brother Martin (Marylin) Krohn of DeGraff, MN.
Sister Rita (Ted) Windhusen of Fremont
many nieces and nephews

The family will have a private service and burial, with military honors, in the Swaburg Baptist Cemetery. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
