Dorothy was born on January 14, 1921 at Creighton, NE. to Henry and Emma (Zobel) Poppe. Dorothy spent much of her life as a homemaker and working various jobs. She enjoyed sewing, tending to her flowers, gardening, handiwork, and playing cards. She loved to bake and visitors were always welcomed to her home with a cup of coffee and a cookie.
