Bernice A. White, age 92, of Fremont;
died Thursday night, July 21, 2016 in the Hooper Care Center.

Bernice was born November 18, 1923 on the family farm near Ewing, NE. Her father died when Bernice was only a month and half old. She then went with her mother to North Dakota to be near other family. Later, when she was to enter the 7th grade, she came to Fremont.

On October 15, 1942, Bernice was married to Marvin E. White. When he went into the US Army, she remained here working for a canning company and Rogers Tent & Awning in Fremont. When her husband returned following his military service, she became a full time homemaker, raising their 3 daughters and son.

Bernice was a member of First Lutheran Church where she had been active in many of its activities.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin in January of 1994, and by 2 sisters.

Survivors: 3 daughters Sharon (John) Wamsley of Clifton, West Virginia
Carolyn (Charles Jr.) Throener of Dodge
Connie (Harold) Meyer of Fremont
son Rodney (Shelly) White of Fremont
12 grandchildren
14 great grandchildren
sister Evelyn Stark of Ridgeway, Missouri

The funeral will be 10:30 AM Monday at First Lutheran Church. The committal will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to First Lutheran Church.

Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Sunday from 2 to 7 PM.
