died Friday evening (April 8th) in the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner.
Christina was born September 10, 1919 in Beemer, Nebraska to Emil and Minnie (Furchert) Toelle. She grew up in Beemer and attended Immanuel Lutheran School south of Beemer.
On September 15, 1938 Christina was married to Leo J. Schlecht. They farmed near Dodge, and later north of Wisner. When they left the farm, they moved to Fremont. Christina worked several years in the K C Drug Store in downtown Fremont, and then at Trinity Lutheran Day Care.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Lois and husband Frank Spitznogle of Peoria, Arizona
JoAnn and husband Lauren Daberkow of Lexington

Christina was preceded in death by her husband Leo in November 2008, a grandson Jay Herzinger, sister Eleonora, 2 brothers Gottlieb and Irvin.
The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday (Apr. 13, 2016) at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Dan Heuer. The committal will be in the Beemer Cemetery at 2 PM Wednesday. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary, Fremont, will be on Tuesday from 2 to 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 PM. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, Fremont, and Good Samaritan Center, Scribner.
