Naomi was born April 2, 1913 on the family farm in the Hooper/Uehling area where she grew up. Her parents were Andrew and Carrie (Larson) Wedergren. She was the youngest of 11 children. She remained on the farm with her family, and moved with them to Fremont in 1932,when she was about 19 years of age.
On October 25, 1936, Naomi was married to Edward S. Adams in Fremont. They lived in the Uehling and Saunders County areas until settling in Fremont in 1955. Naomi had worked at Al's Café for 10 years, then worked for her daughter and son-in-law at Marion's Villa and the Rose Room in Fremont until retiring.
Naomi was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Naomi was preceded in death by her husband Edward in January of 1977, her parents, and by all 10 of her sisters and brothers.

The funeral service will be 10 AM Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church. The committal will follow in Ridge Cemetery. Visitation at the Ludvigsen Mortuary will be on Tuesday from 3 to 8 PM with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM. Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church.
