Cynthia Rae (Brown) Schroeder, age 57, of Omaha passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha.

Cyndi was born April 26, 1966, in Fremont to Richard and Patricia Rae Brown. She graduated from Fremont Senior High in 1984 and attended Wayne State College. She married Michael Schroeder on June 27, 1992, and the couple was blessed with two children, Jeffrey & Ryleigh.

Cyndi devoted her entire life to taking care of children. She spent more than 30 years as an in-home daycare provider in Fremont, Grand Island and Omaha. She and her husband also spent several years as foster parents. She was a very talented online shopper with an affinity for finding great bargains. She never saw a thrift store or clearance rack that she didn't love.
