Wayne C. Obermiller age 87, of Fremont
Died Thursday October 29, 2015 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha

Wayne was born June 16, 1928 in Rockville, Nebraska to Fred and Elsie 'Dethleff' Obermiller. He grew up in Rockville and worked on the family farm. In 1949 he moved to Fremont and worked for Orsheck Construction then Hormel's. He retired in 1985. After retiring from Hormel he worked at the Elkhorn Valley Golf Club for 5 years.

Wayne married JoAnn Hagstrom on July 15, 1951 in Wahoo. She died on February 25, 2014.

Daughter Barbara (Lynn) Murer of Hooper
Son Scott (Stephanie) Obermiller of Hooper
Grandchildren - Brett Robeson, Amy (husband Kent) Johnson, all of Omaha,
Lily Kinkade of Fremont, Madison Obermiller of Hooper
Great grandchildren - Ladd and Cole Johnson, Olivia, Evie and Emiah Kinkade.
Brothers Dean (Dorothy) Obermiller of Ravenna
Loren (Donna) Obermiller of Loup City

In addition to his wife, Wayne was preceded in death by a son Jerry on February 4, 2004 and his brother Oren Obermiller.

There will be no public services, private burial will take place at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
