Mary A. Kelberlau age 68, of Scribner
Died Tuesday September 1, 2015
at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point.

Mary was born April 21, 1947 in Fremont to Roger and Alice 'Weber' Stibor. She was raised in Scribner and graduated from Scribner High School in 1965. In 1966, Mary was married to Stanley Kelberlau. They have lived on the same Kelberlau farm northwest of Scribner for 49 years. During this time Mary and Stan farmed and operated a saw mill. She also worked at Omaha Steaks in Snyder, Cattleman's Steakhouse in Dodge, Scribner Good Samaritan Society and most recently at Mel's Bar in Scribner.

Mary loved to spend time with family and her passion was cooking. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Scribner.

Mary was preceded in death by her father Roger, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joyce and Doc Moeller.

The funeral will be 10am Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Scribner. The Rev. Bruce Schut will officiate. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 3pm to 8pm with the family present from 5pm to 7pm at Ludvigsen's Scribner Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Trinity Cemetery Association and Snyder Rescue Squad.
