Died Sunday July 26, 2015
at his home.
Stanley was born to Melvin and Evelyn (Tillery) Bauer in Scribner on July 30, 1941. He grew up on the farm near Scribner and graduated from Scribner High School. He farmed and worked for Kallio's Go Lite Camper
manufacturing company in Fremont until beginning 40 years of employment with Hormel's.
Stanley was married to Dalene Heuring, and they later divorced. In 1984, Stanley was married to Mary Zimmerman Frerichs.
He had been active with the former Mexico Mission Builders (doing construction and mission work in Mexico) started by First Lutheran Church. He was known for collecting his own firewood wherever he could find a tree to cut down. He enjoyed sports, and especially enjoyed following the events his grandchildren were involved in.

sister Sharon Bauer of West Point
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Donald who died in May of this year.
A memorial service will be on August 7th, 1 PM, at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel, Fremont. The committal will follow in Ridge Cemetery.
