My sincere sympathy to the Russ Person family. I had the opportunity to work with Russ at the UNL-ARDC and in my early years helped him with clerical support projects for the Agronomy Unit. Russ was always appreciative and was easy to talk with. It was a pleasure to have worked with him.

Russ was a wonderful uncle who will be sorely missed. I have many fond memories of summer vacations spent with Russ, Sara and my cousins Carl, Ray and Linda occasionally in Nebraska but mostly in California. I enjoyed listening to stories about the experimental farm and understanding Russell's appreciation of the land. Thank you for your guidance and being a good role model. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of mourning and transition.
