Joanne was my good and fun-loving friend through 11 years of grade school and high school in Uehling, Nebraska. We shared a wonderful childhood in a close-knit farming community. I regret that fifty years have passed without our
keeping in touch. Now I miss her. To her brother and the Meyer cousins and the rest of her extended family, I send my sympathy and this condolence. Be strong.

It's hard for me to put into words what I am feeling right now. Joanne was a kind and caring good friend and former co-worker. I miss her unique sense of humor, our phone conversations, and just hearing her laugh. We were coworkers and friends for over 26 years. May she rest in peace.
