Dear Bauer Family,

My sympathies re: the death of Stan. We were all farm neighbors south of Scribner back in the day. We all went to country school at District #47. I am part of the Moeller farm family: parents Bernell & Vivian, and siblings Sandra, Lynn, Brian and Douglas. Sharon was still in country school, but I remember most the Bauer family and the fun we had on their hill during the winter. We'd use an old auto hood, turn it upside down, and go bumping down this great sledding hill. Evelyn was so kind to us. Us little Moeller boys (and sister) looked up (literally) to the Bauer brothers. Death ends a Life but Not a Relationship so you can talk to Stan/Dad/Grandpa "forever."..........Take good care, Larry Moeller
