I lived across the street from Ruth. The morning after I had moved in, she came across the street and introduced herself...also stating that her husband had passed the night before. I felt so sad for her. My son, Kirk and I became fast friends with her. He enjoyed helping her with her garden and lawn, and just visiting with her. We moved to Sioux City in late May of 2013, and have missed her dearly. My thoughts and prayers to her entire family and all of her friends. She was a wonderful friend, and neighbor! To the family of Ruth - I grew up with her being my families favorite waitress, but we called her Ruthie and she loved it. Through all the years of knowing her she always knew me even as we both got older. Her warm welcome, gentle smile and laugh were always ready to share with everyone. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.... but never forgotten. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 |

So sorry and saddened by the loss of your grandmother, Erika. I know from how you talked of your grandmother that you shared a lot of great memories with her. May you hold onto and cherish those times. May you find peace knowing that God has taken her home to rest. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 |
